More miracles happen in the United States than most people know. The reason you don't hear about them here is because ours is a country of logic. If it doesn't make logical sense, it must be a fluke, or coincidence, or anomoly, but the last thing it could possibly be is a miracle. What happened in the Emergency Department at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center was just that, a miracle! We had a man come in by EMS "CPR in progress" a few months ago. His family had arrived not long after he did, and was shortly thereafter praying for him with our chaplain in one of our consultation rooms. Little did they know, that at that moment he was already being pronounced dead by the Emergency Physician. One of my co-workers and I were intent on not letting this happen on our watch, and I was especially reluctant to let him go because our church has been learning from a healing church to take authority over these things. No sooner had the doctor pronounced him dead, and gone to tell the family that he didn't make it, then his heart miraculously started beating again! One of the nurses that was working on him confirmed this with me, that they had not restarted his heart, but it had in fact started beating again on it's own! The doctor dismissed it as an anomoly saying, "Sometimes these things happen." The hand of God intervened in that man's life, and it was all thanks to the prayers of His people!
